What's eating: "Socca", a chickpea flat bread; a tuna fish sandwich called "Pan Bagnat"; local fish Soup, made with chili aioli, croutons, and grated cheese; Nicoise Salad (lettuce, potatoes, green beans, peppers, tuna, anchovies, boiled egg,) ; Tourtes aux Blettes (sweet tartes) and pissaladiere (a type of pizza topped with sautéed onion, olives, garlic and anchovies).
Souvenir: Pastries, jams, chocolates and rose petals.

Code Dress:Please note the Dress Code recommended to enter any church. No shorts, bare shoulders or miniskirts. This applies to both men and women. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended

SHORE EXCURSION IN NICE

From the port we will drive towards the city of Nice, a natural amphitheater in the Baie des Anges, which is just 25 minutes from the port of Villefranche and 50 minutes from the port of Cannes.
We will do a panoramic tour on the bus along the Promenade des Anglais, where you can see the buildings of the "belle époque", converted into hotels and apartments. We will continue to the famous Hotel Negresco, where many kings and nobles from all over Europe were lodged.
Then we will visit the Orthodox Cathedral of St. Nicholas (external visit), and we will continue with a panoramic tour to the city center. Finally, we will head towards Cours Saleya, to visit the famous Flower Market of Nice.
At the end of the shore excursion, we will have some free time to walk through the city center or along the Promenade des Anglais. Then we will come back to the bus to reach the port for boarding.
