What's eating:Typical corsican charcuterie made from pig or boar meat: lonzu, coppa, ham, figatellu and saucisson. Canistrelli are typical corsican pastries which come in many different flavors.
Souvenir: Corsica produces a unique flavored olive oil made from ripe fruits collected under trees.

SHORE EXCURSION IN AJACCIO

We will leave the port and start our excursion with a panoramic drive by bus. Then, we will visit Austerlitz square where the Napoleon cave is located (that’s where he used to hide when he was a child) and the Memorial with his statue. We will get to the Pointe de la Parata where we will leave our bus and start a 20 minuts walk in order to get to the very extreme point. Here we will have the chance to admire the breath- taking view of the Bloody Island and the Genovese tower and we can relax a bit and have the chance to take some pictures.

Coming back to the city centre we will admire the Holy land monument and the Chatedreal. We will get off again our bus and and have a walk to Charles de Gaulle square with the statue of the General and his 4 brothers, the Bonaparte house, where Napoleon was born.

We will keep walking untill the Foch square, where the market is placed before coming back to the port.
