We will visit the heart of the cit , starting with the Dominican Monastery, the Rector's Palace and the Cathedral of the Assumption, in the Baroque style . According to legend, the reconstruction was possible thanks to a donation of King Richard the Lionheart, after being rescued from a shipwreck in the town . After serious damages reported in the earthquake of 1667 it was rebuilt in Baroque style, designed by the Roman architects Buffalini Andrea and Paolo Andreotti.
Then we will continue our shore excursion visiting the Wall in Dubrovnik, Sponza Palace, the Church of St. Blaise, the large Onofrio Fountain, Loggia Square, we will walk along the streets and Prijeko Ulica (or Puca ), which are among the most beautiful in the city, arriving to the church of Saint Francis.
